A smart sidekick and buddy for all your community members in Slack. Albus learns from your Slack conversations (+ other sources) to give instant answers and handle repetitive questions. Transform your community into a knowledge hub for your members.
Hi folks ππ»
Excited to launch Albus for Community today on PH π
2 months ago, we launched a beta version of Albus to a few communities - and he has already answered 20,000+ questions!
Albus is an AI-powered knowledge bot that learns from your Slack conversations and channels to provide accurate answers at your fingertips.
Oh btw - Albus isn't limited to "Slack" alone!
Albus also integrates with workplace apps such as Notion, Google Drive, HubSpot, Jira, and more. So, even if your community's knowledge is scattered across multiple platforms, Albus should be able to help!
With Albus, your community can:
Get answers instantly: No more endless scrolling, keyword searching or worrying about archived messages. Albus analyzes all the data across different sources and provides you with spot-on answers in seconds.
Become the #1 knowledge hub for your niche: Albus provides answers to member queries, rich with community insights and real-life experiences, offering more reliable information than standard Google searches.
Focus on things that matter: As an admin, you can free up your time from mundane tasks and focus on impactful work like speaker outreach, and event planning which can further elevate community member experience.
How It Works:
Add Albus: Install Albus from your Slack app directory and connect it to your Slack account.
Select channels: You can select which channels Albus should start learning from, once you select, Albus will start analyzing your chats.
Ask your first question: Asking a question is easy, you can either DM Albus or @Albus on a channel. For example: @Albus what are the best email outbound tools
If this sounds exciting, Aayush from Team Albus would love to chat (https://calendly.com/aayush-mahe...) about how can Albus transform your community.
@abhash_kumar2 Pretty useful bot to save answering time.
Quick question - While learning from the community knowledge/user generated content - how does it determine accuracy of an answer for a question?
And again, huge congratulations for the launch of Albus. Wishing you a stellar launch.
Just dropped by to say Albus sounds like a total lifesaver for crowded Slack communities. Learning from chatter to handle FAQs - brilliant! Best of luck, team! π
Hey there, love the concept! Quick question: How does Albus keep its knowledge base updated with new info from platforms like Slack and Notion? Excited to see its impact on community engagement! Great job on the launch!
Hey @mocarg, thank you for the support.
Once the sources are connected, you get an option in the dashboard to automatically retrain the documents/channels. You can set it to retrain daily, weekly, or monthly.
This Slack sidekick, Albus, is a brilliant addition to fostering community engagement. Its ability to learn from conversations and provide instant, personalized answers is a game-changer (oops, no buzzwords π).
π€ The transformation of communities into knowledge hubs is a noteworthy concept. How do you envision Albus evolving to accommodate different community dynamics, and what challenges did you face in ensuring accuracy and relevance in its responses?
Working with the Albus team has been such a pleasure! A+ product and A+ team, solving some of the hardest problems in AI, RAG, and more. Congratulations on the launch!!
Huge congrats to Team Albus on your phenomenal launch on Producthunt! A smart sidekick for community interactions is such a game-changer. It would be even cooler if Albus could have a feature to suggest topic-based discussion threads based on the conversations it learns. This could further enhance the knowledge sharing experience among members. Keep rocking!
Hi @manmohit, thank you for your support.
Interesting point. Topic based suggestion based on previous conversation can further improve the engagement in community and enable dialogue between community members.
