For small indie makers who may not have a lot of documentation, what kind of data or docs do we need to produce and feed into Dopt?
@phil_vander_broek@jgani We've been surprised by how far a little bit of doc goes. As long as you have some basic docs pages explaining core concepts in your product the quality we've been seeing has been remarkable

We currently support the ability to crawl any publicly available website, so that could include docs, help articles, guides, marketing websites, support forums, and more. We give you control to include any or all of those sources, so you could simply start with your website 🙂. We also support uploading documents for content that's not publicly available!
Wow this is awesome. Currently putting together the docs for our new product and will definitely try popping this in. Anything to help unblock users and get them to aha faster is 🪄 and this seems simple and clean.

I've found that onboarding users within the product is often a pretty painful painful process. Is this a product that will help with that aspect as well?

Dopt team is on fire 🔥 we're using Dopt to manage in-app release notifications and onboarding flows. The rate they're iterating and shipping is phenomenal and excited to see this latest iteration!

Dopt's CEO here, we couldn't be more excited to get AI Assist into folks hands today.
We've seen teams struggle to build effective product education.
The reality is that incredibly contextual help _is_ dramatically more effective at get users unstuck, there just hasn't been a good way to effectively do it.
The options today aren't great: spend a ton of time building and maintaining surface area for your in product education, or bolt on a chatbot that annoys users and rarely resolves their issue.
We've been working with a lot of teams over the last few months trying to figure out how we might be able to use AI to solve this product education problem. We've been absolutely blown away by how well automatically capturing product context and using vision models works.
Users can get thoughtful, contextual assistance wherever and whenever they need it, and you can build it deeply into your product workflows (like automatically offering users help in context when they run into an error).
Higher quality experiences, happier users, far less effort, and metrics moving in the right direction -- what's not to love :)

This is a game changer! I spend way too much time handling support questions and while it's useful to talk to users been trying to figure out how to scale myself / our docs and this seems like it'll do just that
Hey everyone! Super excited that our new AI products at Dopt are launching today. We can't wait to see what ya'll are going to build -- we tried to focus on flexibility and composability while still providing great default experiences.
We also devoted a lot of time to building a rich ML / AI model to underlie all of these flexible pieces so that you can get up and running without having to focus on annoying problems like prompting, retrieval, etc.
