AirPods Pro are the only in-ear headphones with
Active Noise Cancellation that continuously adapts to the geometry of your ear and the fit of the ear tips — blocking out the world so you can focus on what you’re listening to.

AirPods are one of my favorite products int he past few years. The new noise canceling feature (for phone/video calls) is worth the purchase for me but also happy to see better Siri integration and the audio-sharing feature.
Seb Jachec
@rrhoover Any chance reviews/ratings could be disabled for pre-launch products? They're completely meaningless on this product page at the moment seeing as AirPods Pro have yet to ship. Same has happened with other products getting tanked or inflated without having launched.
Yefim Vedernikoff
@rrhoover the audio sharing already exists for all generations of airpods as long as the phone is running iOS 13.
Joshua Dance
Being able to actually fit them to your ears is going to be key. Love it.
Alex Halliday
All i really want to know is whether or not these will stay in my ears when i run.
Tudor Baidoc
I had a feeling that's why I didn't upgrade to Airpods 2. Now I can finally upgrade.
Tyler Lastovich
I don't really care what they look like, but I sure hope they fit! I couldn't deal with the normal airpods comfort or lack of isolation. Hoping these will do the trick.

@aaron_kazah agree. Their product landing pages are always world class.

@aaron_kazah @rrhoover When do we start thinking of environmental sustainability when it comes to 'good design'? These are essentially disposable gadgets. Once the battery dies, they are useless. Millions of them will end up on landfill. It might be great engineering, but it's *bad* design. Anything that is 'use once, throw out' is bad design. Sorry. >>> https://www.vice.com/en_au/artic...
Alexander De Ridder
@kaibrach How is this 'use once' ? It's rechargeable?
Kai Brach
@adridder When the batteries no longer hold charge, the entire product ends up on landfill. And as far as I know, Apple doesn't bother recycling smaller items like this. Millions of them will be around hundreds of years from now. What I'm saying is that we need to rethink what 'good design' means. This sort of disrespect for materials and the environment is bad design – at least if we think designers have a responsibility beyond customer happiness and company profits. Well-designed products should be circular. They should be upgradable and maintainable. And at the end of their life cycle should at least partially be able to be repurposed.
Alexander De Ridder
@kaibrach How do you come to the conclusion that this is specifically, quote "a product design problem", and not instead a lack of recycling program (as far as you know), which for all I know, they might be working on?

Oh wow, these are strange looking, but hey liking the new active noise cancellation feature

Is it me or the design of this looks so clunky.....
Chris Dancy
Apple wants us to insert these into our heads and never remove them. The age of "Her" is upon us.
Maxim Campolo
I think these look good, an upgrade from the standard model we've had for a while. Noise cancellation will be fantastic. Only disappointment is the battery life. Less than the non-pro version. For those that frequently use the Airpods microphone for an extended period of time, a boost in battery life on the pro line would have been amazing.
Ed Holloway
@max_campolo1 Talk time is 3.5 hours on the Pro vs 3 hours on Airpods 2. Listen time is the same, with noise cancelling turned off - and only 30 mins less with it on. I've never once ran out of battery on my AirPods 1 or 2, so this has never been an issue for me (but maybe it's because they fall out often enough I just out them in the case a lot! )
Ed Holloway
@max_campolo1 Yea, I think apple let the engineers put that table together instead of the marketing team :-) When you look at the full specs on both, the pro looks a little better

I'm excited for their Active Noise Cancelation.

Instabuy. I'm one who's ears aren't actually Airpod shaped, so had to resort to silicone fins etc. to keep the originals in my ears. That took the shine off of the usability, as I had to remove them to put the Airpods back in the case - which is a real pain, but the other ease-of-use aspects made them still worth the hassle. I've been sniffing around the Sony WF-1000XM3's but am glad I resisted.
Ed Holloway
@colin_smith_ezchile_ Same here. I clicked buy as soon as I saw the image with the rubber tips. Sadly, I'm more excited about that than the noise cancelling.
Colin Smith (EzChile)
@edholloway @hrygrfn Had mine delivered today. Very impressed so far. The ANC is better than I'd hoped for - I was testing them in a kitchen with an extractor fan running, hit ANC and thought for a second there'd been a power cut. The tips are definitely more secure and the larger size of the Airpod body seems to fit my ear a whole lot better. #happyCamper
Ed Holloway
@hrygrfn @colin_smith_ezchile_ Awesome, thanks for the feedback, and congrats on delivery. Mine are still showing a Nov 5th delivery date :-(

Design is not good.. I don't like the feature other company are giving better features
Abdelhafid Achtaou
Not an AirPods addict ... But their Web Design is just uffff!
Jerre
Looks like Jony Ive indeed left Apple
Anna Filou
@jerre_baum why do you say that though? It's not like the AirPods Pro look ugly or anything.
Jeremy Garcia
Wiiiide bois.
James Luterek
Why on earth would anyone buy these given the current offerings. Get a pair of Sony wf-1000xm3. Better audio, better noise cancellations, and better design. I can't understand how the email mentioned surface buds, but failed to reference the Sony true wireless option. They use the same chip as their full cans which consistently rank best for noise cancelling headphones.
Alessandro Tenconi
@james_luterek the microphone on the Sony is horrible though, which means for Business users, airpods might just be a better choice
Francesco Wiedemann
finally! waited for this to happen to replace my Bose noise cancelling ones...

incredible sound emanating from WITHIN your cortex

Nice! Now my AirPods can look more like Chinese ripoffs.
