We've watched @neil_hamamoto1 and his team at worthlessstudios make magic from the sidelines and are really excited to launch our first partnership: Over the past two summers, the worthlessstudios team, an NYC-based arts non-profit, traveled across America in an old Airstream-turned-darkroom. They handed out cameras and rolls of film to over 1400 people they met along the way. The result? Over 40,000 images, now curated in a pair of books, FREE FILM : USA and FREE FILM : JUNE 2020. The physical books are now on sale (click through for the link!), but we're hosting the entire library on Air, for free. Neil and team really knocked it out out of the park — looking through the photographs is an incredible survey of the country over our crazy last few years. So click the link and enjoy. It might spark an idea or new thought on this place we call home. Take care, Shane

Very cool collab. Love what Worthless has been doing to bring community into art, whether it's nationwide or locally here in New York... their Plywood Protection project is another one to check out! https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/...

What a pleasure working with Air, @shegde and the entire team. The digital archive of the FREE FILM project is imperative to the project's mission to democratize photography and show people the many true and honest interpretations of our prompt phrases. Air has helped us bring this digital archive to life so all our book readers can take on the role of editor/curator and decide for themselves what they truly see.
