The AIDECAST Marketplace is the stepping stone to our mission of improving how older adults and disabled individuals living alone are able to remain living safely in their home with support from home care services when they need it. The story of AIDECAST begins with the founder's personal experience witnessing older adults 80+ years of age, living alone and not receiving care everyday of the week, suffering and resulting in frequent incidents and hospitalizations. Most us worry about our own well-being, and are able to pretty much get most done on our own with little support. But for older adults that live alone, the uncertainty of not knowing how they eat, pick up groceries, pick up medications, do laundry, take baths or just move around safely in their homes, is extremely scary. Many are facing this challenge simply because they live in hard to reach areas. We want to solve this major problem by providing a platform that connects home care providers with clients and families that need quality care in their homes.
