Thanks for the hunt @benln
While working with thousands of content creators at Lifeslice, we realized that the common pattern on their social media bios would be:
- Instagram: @alexbouaziz
- Twitter: @bouazizalex
- Snapchat: @Alexb
- And so on!
π€ We decided to make it simpler by creating addme.fun! Addme is optimised for mobiles, so itβs easy to share yours on Snapchat & Instagram stories. We even added the ability to add your Btc public key for you bitcoin lovers! Hope you enjoy it, let us know your thoughts.
Here is mine: https://www.addme.fun/alex π
Addme is fantastic. I think its a really great idea that solves a real problem. We are constantly joining more networks that we can make content on and be discovered on but each one only allows a certain number of characters in your bio. Rather than picking and choosing, Addme allows you to set just one link that beautifully displays all the others.
Thanks for the feedback Jason! Yep, mobile was our first focus as we have been growing mainly through people sharing it on Snapchat/Instagram stories as links (SWIPE UP β¬οΈ π). But we'll get there!
I would love to see some new sharing features such as a QR code. I would also like to see some new social profiles and simple contact information such as Medium.com, Phone number and email. Would be nice to get some statistics as well. Over all great product and looking forward to see it grow!
Hey Tobias! We will improve the UX but we have quite a few channels in there.
Go to your settings and you will see them all! Linkedin is already there. If you have any questions or need anything else, feel free to email me at alex@lifeslice.io - Thank you for the feedback π
@lifeslice@bouazizalex hey Alex, I only saw the screenshot on producthunt and there was no linkedin. You have more channels than you can see here, so I am sorry for not looking into the live product. But there is another problem: You guys scan the usernames for potential errors, which means my instagram username "_.t0b1" is seen as an error for beginning with an _ but it's a working instagram name.
I have been using this product as an easy way to introduce myself to people I meet. I love it and got great support from the team when I asked for a new Social Profile to be added. Good luck! Check me out at https://www.addme.fun/aviwolicki
@crowx Hi Edward! Love Shuuka, it's a great website! The main difference, in my opinion, is our focus, we optimized and built addme to be embedded in Instagram and Snapchat stories and it's been paying off! We also wanted to make it super quick and simple to set up an account in a few seconds.
Good idea, few thoughts:
-It would be cool for a site owner to be able to retrieve JSON data from a Addme profile when a user enters his Addme URL. That way, the user just enters one URL and the website owner is able to fetch all social media URLs to complete his profile.
-Why not using Social Media Oauth to register?
@nico_lrx Howdi Nicolas, thanks for great feedback!
1. we will defiantly supply some kind of an api for devs to integrate addme to their websites.
2. we will probably add this later down the road, to support upcoming features
stay tuned ;)
Very nice. Missing some things like BattleTag, tumblr, Steam community ID and Apple Music profile. When I was adding accounts, It could have been be nice if there was a question mark Icon (or something like that) next to each social profile which needs a link URL. So a TL;DR explanation of how to obtain the relevant link would be an easy find and save some Googling. :) Anyway, I like it a lot. Good luck

@norod78 Hey Doron! Thanks so much for the feedback! That's actually a neat idea, we had some issue when we had it tested the first time with people not knowing their Facebook username so it's super relevant. We will look into it! For Apple music and Steam, do you think people would want to share those? We considered but weren't sure :)
Love the idea, I just created an account on a desktop, and profile picture updates aren't sticking at all for me. (Win 7, Firefox) I'll just update later but wanted you to know. - They show uploaded, they just don't stick when I save the changes.

Here is some feedback:
1. Add an overview of supported channels to the front page if you want more people to use your service.
2. I personal also would like to see xing.de (kind of the german linkedin) and savee.it since i hate pinterest :)
Pros:It's great to share
Cons:To few channels are supported
