Thanks @scottdevtweets for the hunt! πŸ₯³ This is both my first ebook that I published and my first product on Product Hunt πŸ™Œ πŸ’‘ What was my goal with this? My goal of creating this ebook was to try to help developers come up with project ideas so they can hit the ground running learning by doing. I often hear from others (myself included) that part of the struggle of getting started is simply coming up with an idea of WHAT to build. I strongly believe learning by doing is one of the best ways you can learn as a developer. The practical experience will help you solve real problems and give you real experience. 🧐 What's inside? I packed this ebook with 50 different project ideas complete with project briefs, layout ideas, and resources to make it as easy as possible to get started right away. The project briefs come with 3 different "levels" of challenge. It varies between the different projects, but the goal is to be able to continuously build on top of your work. The layouts are unique for each project that serve as an idea that you can roll with if you don't want to spend the time thinking through that part of it. The resources all include some tool ideas, tutorials, and even examples as inspiration for similarly created projects. As Scott mentioned, there's also a bunch of different tracks made up of the project ideas. The projects are categorized into 8 different topics: * Business & Real-World * Fun & Interesting * Personal & Portfolio * Productivity * Games & Puzzles * Tools & Libraries * Project Add-Ons * Clones πŸš€ What's next? My hope is to continue contributing to building out some tutorials to help add to the resources. Additionally, I'm hoping the community contributes to adding their own favorite tutorials and examples on the Github repo. Finally I'm looking to publish this as a hard copy and make it available for anyone who prefers to follow along that way. It already has checkbox and such within todo lists that make it a great way to work through the book. I'd love to hear what people think, the reception and support so far has been amazing πŸ€—

This is a really well thought out product with differing levels to each project and loads of different tracks to take: - Personal Web Presence - Marketing Launch - Global Analysis Dashboard - Tech Conference - Open Source - Hackathon - Creative Coding - Game Night Each track has the relevant projects to take to work through it, a really good guide to help you zero in on a specific area you want to work on. Excellent job Colby! πŸ’ͺ

This is a great resource for anyone looking for project ideas. I love that it is not a step-by-step tutorial. It leaves it up to the individual to use their imagination a bit to build each project. This will ensure that every project will be unique, unlike other project building tutorials in which you can find the same project in duplicate everywhere. This is the best way to test your knowledge and learn how to problem solve as you build each project. Great job Colby!
