The more people join on the leaderboard, the merrier !
@bramk @_jacksmith Sorry I had some issues to deal with.
I started building it this WE, and really put in some effort yesterday night after Pistats.io was out and people were complaining + no leaderboard. Their UI is really awesome though.

says total number of shared rides = 1. I've definitely had more shared rides than that, as I always use uberpool.
@_jacksmith my bad. by "shared rides", I meant "split rides" (when the ride was $12 but you split it with a friend of yours)
@will_lam That's still a lot of money for 20 trips ! It's all relative to your number of trips. I hope you're more aware of this spending now :)
It stopped after 40 pages and wasn't able to report my total (yeah, been using Uber a lot since 2012...)
@giordanobc Interesting, I only got to test out 27 pages so far, and it worked fine. I'll try to fix that, I'll keep you posted. Sorry about that Giordano.
@giordanobc What browser are you using ? Can you open the developer console (CMD + ALT + J on Chrome Mac, CMD + ALT + C on Safari Mac, CTRL + ALT + J on Windows) and send me the report to alexei [dot] chemenda [at] gmail [dot] com ? That would be really helpful. Thanks !

I made this leaderboard / Uber stats this WE and decided to share with others, especially since I saw the comments yesterday about Pistats.io (Great design & great job!!!).
I spent a lot of money on Uber trips, decided to know how much exactly.
I was AMAZED to see how much I spent. And the leaderboard is here to make it fun :)
I now understand why Uber is a 40 billion dollar company. We're spending so much, without even realising it..
Oh god... Would be super cool if it looked at your routes and worked out how much money you could have saved with the bus... actually screw that I don't want to see that statistic!
@mikelholford It would be really interesting to do that actually ! We could take an average 10 minute walk max to get to the bus (ie if it's further away, take an uber). I'll put that on the wish list :) thanks for the feedback !
Uber will hate this, making everyone cringe on how much they actually spend. Amazing though, I always wanted to know my Uber stats, now I just want to weep!
@kyleverywhere I actually thought about this: whether Uber will hate it or not. I'm a huge fan of Uber and didn't want to hurt the brand. I also think that if they jumped in and interacted with the customers on the platform, it could be awesome for them (add a rewards program, say Hi to these top customers, offer gifts to the top 20 leaderboard, come here comment on Product Hunt...). I reached out to them, didn't hear back (yet).

It definitely would ! and it would make me less itchy about taking an uber knowing that it converts to points and / or status for priority cars.
@aprilzero well, that's debatable :) 1247 is a LOT of trips ! I'll agree to offer a bottle of champaign to the #1 on the leaderboard on May 1st 10AM PST, *and* if it reaches 10.000 users points. Hey, maybe Uber will want to jump in too on the gift and show some gratitude to its customers :)

Those rides from 2011 really add up. Also undecided if being in the top 3 is winning or losing.
@stuartparmenter This will probably be a big debate :) For me it's really not about winning or losing, it's about awareness. We just have no idea how much we spend on this. I'm glad I could try to bring this awareness to some people on PH ! What's your #rides ?
@o_iver because of the design :) ? Or because of your total amount ? What'd you get ?
Be interesting to see how many other startups release their data to the public.
Agreed Alexei, they need to reward us top payers better! It would dry the tears up a bit.
@stuartparmenter so far the top 1 is at 1534 rides and $20.000 :) I have 460 rides and it takes about 90 seconds.. Let me know !
