Manage secrets without leaving your terminal or manually typing passwords with 1Password CLI 2.0. With biometric unlock, you can scan your fingerprint to access your vault, execute commands, automate workflows and provision users.
Hi Hunters!
1Password is, unsurprisingly, full of developers. Lately, we’ve been turning our attention to building things that we as developers want to see in the wild. Things that make our work a bit easier and a lot more secure.
So we built 1Password CLI 2.0.
With the newest iteration of 1Password CLI, you can manage secrets without leaving your terminal… and without manually typing in passwords, thanks to biometric unlock. Just scan your fingerprint to authenticate Git and other SSH workflows – because in case you haven’t heard, 1Password 8 now also includes a built-in SSH agent!
CLI 2.0 is part of a new collection of features we’re calling 1Password Developer Tools. Together, they simplify and secure your development workflow so you can stay in flow and get things done, without sacrificing security. It’s all available in 1Password 8, right now.
Happy hunting!
