Will you use the "hide likes" features on Facebook and Instagram?

Facebook finally moved on hiding likes but it's an opt-in feature rather than complete removal. On Instagram there's a per post option.
Do you intend to hide your likes or hide your likes? Why or why not? What do you think of the update being "opt-in"?

This seems like a useless half-measure *because it has to be done post-by-post*. If there was a global option to hide likes on all of my posts, like there is to hide others from myself, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I would if I had facebook, but I use this browser extension to hide twitter numbers: https://bengrosser.com/projects/...
Although without the like count, those tweets that are made to get likes look more odd to me
would like to try this and see what happens

Likes generate more likes. If people start to ignore the like count their opinion about the content will be more personal and not because the post is trending. People are so influenced. I think it's a great idea to hide likes.

@cica_laure_mbappe Well said, I agree!
I will hide all the likes if there is such a feature (now it's only applicable to each post)
I don't feel numbers define someone, personality does!!!
I won't. I don't have a profile on FB, and my IG account is closed any way.
I don't use facebook often. So no, it doesn't seem like a very good idea

I don't feel struggle about the numbers, so – I don't
