Depending on what the goal of that specific content piece is. If it's an ad for conversions, then that would be my KPI. If it's simply a like campaign, then obviously number of followers etc.

Conversion from the content to the website to the checkout. After all, it is all about bringing in buyers, so I want to look at the journey from the content to money.

When measuring content performance, my favorite KPI to track is engagement rate. This metric captures the essence of how well the content resonates with the audience, going beyond mere views or clicks. Engagement rate encompasses various forms of interaction such as likes, shares, comments, and time spent on the content. It reflects the depth of connection and interest the audience has with the content. By focusing on engagement, I gain insights into the effectiveness of the content in sparking conversation and fostering a community, allowing for more strategic adjustments in future content development. This holistic view ensures that content not only reaches an audience but also creates meaningful interactions that drive brand loyalty and awareness.
