1. A telegram group with most active "true fans" of the product, where they share feedback, bugs, ideas.
2. Also, we organised a giveaway of 50$ for all users participating in feedback calls. We emailed all users inviting to participate and mentioning about the giveaway.
I initially found embedding a feature request forum like UserVoice to be the best approach. However, it became quite costly. Fortunately, there are several open-source alternatives available that can serve the same purpose effectively.
1. Use in-app feedback prompts and surveys to directly ask users for input. 2. Actively monitor social media, review sites, and forums to gather unsolicited feedback. 3. Reach out to your most engaged users for in-depth interviews to really understand their needs and pain points. Combining these approaches helps get a holistic view. And incentives like gift cards never hurt participation rates!
Create a community or online forum to discuss your product. Or there is a way allowing your customers to provide input directly through your app and website. I think these two methods are the most effective.
