What’s the best way to find the right partners to promote a SaaS for restaurants product?

We’re growing Foodiv.com, a platform for restaurants, and looking for people with strong connections in the restaurant industry. We’re offering 20% commission for every restaurant onboarded through our partners. If you’ve successfully built partnerships for a SaaS business before, I’d love to hear your insights! Also, if you know someone who could be a great fit, let’s connect.

I've found some great SaaS partners in niche online communities. Reddit's r/restaurateur and industry Slack groups are worth exploring.

I've seen restaurant owners actively networking in Facebook and Whatsapp groups. Might be a great way to connect directly.

What about talking to agencies that specialize in working within the food industry? Often agencies are the de facto decision makers for the company with regards to tech and they're always looking for other revenue streams.

@steveb Would you recommend any agency?

Great approach, Ashish! A few ways to find the right partners:

  1. Restaurant Consultants & Coaches – They already advise restaurants and can introduce your product.

  2. Industry Associations & Local Chambers – Many have partnerships programs or member perks.

  3. POS System Providers – Partnering with existing restaurant tech can get you direct access.

  4. Influential Restaurant Owners & Chefs – Word-of-mouth from respected industry figures carries weight.

  5. Niche Facebook & LinkedIn Groups – Great for connecting with decision-makers in the space.
