Hey PH community, are there any content/video professionals here? I am doing research to learn about the pain points faced by creators when it comes to video storytelling? Curious to hear what your top challenges / frustrations are about your video creating or editing workflows? For me, it is converting my final edits into various dimensions that fit each platform (IG vs YT vs Tiktok etc). It's such a time suck.

Time-consuming and tedious AF. Finding the right music can be a struggle too.

Turning the right clips into Reels takes time. It's mostly the decision making that slows me down.

Disclaimer first : I have really low editing skills. So my pain points can come from my lack of knowledge :) - Finding a good song is definitely on my top pain point list. - Adjusting the light when my focus moved during the interview - Optimize the sound - The time spent for searching answers to my pain point :)

Uggghh editing is such a time suck! 😫 I'm always struggling to find the perfect music too. Anyone know of AI tools that could help speed things up? Like something to auto-trim clips or intelligently match tracks to different vid sections based on vibes/energy? That would be a game changer! πŸ™

OMG the struggle is real! 😩 I swear half my life is wasted scrubbing through footage trying to find the perfect clips. And don't even get me started on finding music that isn't generic AF but also won't get claimed by copyright bots. πŸ™„ I keep hoping some AI tool will come along and automagically edit my vids for me but no luck yet. Anyone found any tools that actually help with this or am I doomed to spend eternity in the editing mines? β›πŸ˜

Same here, editing is so time-consuming! A tool I've found super helpful is Descript - it transcribes your videos and lets you edit them like a doc. Makes it way faster to cut out filler words, rearrange clips, add b-roll, etc. Game changer for me. πŸ™Œ For music I usually search on Artlist or Epidemic Sound.

Converting a video that is meant to be 1920x1080 to 1080x1920 and adding captions! Always a pain to read through and make sure its 100% correct.
