One of the best free video editing tools for PC is DaVinci Resolve! 🎬✨ It offers professional-grade features and advanced color correction, making it perfect for both beginners and experts.

Hitfilm Express is my go-to for free video editing on PC. Has most of the essential features and effects you need without the price tag. Shotcut is another decent free option, though a bit more basic. OpenShot is easy to use for beginners. And yeah, DaVinci Resolve is powerful but def more of a learning curve!

OpenShot is a pretty good free video editor. It has a nice clean interface and should cover most basic editing needs. Kdenlive is another solid option that's a bit more advanced. And of course Davinci Resolve is amazing if you want to get into color grading and more advanced stuff, but has a steeper learning curve.

I saw that some people are suggesting CapCut. I think you could also take a look at Clipchamp, which offers basic editing options, transitions and templates. Just a heads-up though, with the free version, they don’t support cloud storage, so you’ll have to stick with the same PC from start to finish :D

I’ve used Shotcut for adding blur to some parts of my video. It’s free and open-source. While it has some advanced features, I found the UI a bit complex for my needs. It might be more suited if you already have some editing experience. Still, it worked well for what I needed!
