Planning or Testing?

When approaching a new challenge, do you prefer carefully designing a structured plan before taking action, or do you favor experimenting directly to discover what works best through trial and error?

Structured planning. You have lesser surprises when you plan and you have the ability to accept right or wrong based on that.

As a founder you need to fail fast and keep experimenting.

In a startup, rigid planning often falls apart because the landscape changes so quickly. Today's challenge might not even be a challenge tomorrow. Iterative development allows for flexibility and course correction, but some upfront planning is still necessary to avoid total chaos. It’s about finding the right balance: enough structure to give direction but not so much that it slows down innovation.
