I know that some of you might be hesitant to start working on your idea, because you have no technical knowledge. I was the same a few months ago, so I'd be happy to answer any questions about this.
Open to questions and feedback about what I launched as well! π
Main vision of TheWorkSage is to connect everyone looking to change/grow their career, with the people who are offering help to achieve this.

Congrats on the launch! How long in advance did you start planning and prepping for your launch?

TheWorkSage
@pranabgohain 3 months ago was when I discovered Bubble and then I planned also the launch.
Let me guess, to launch a first product a founder with no-tech background should hire a UI designer and no-code developer to create MVP, right? :)
TheWorkSage
Congrats, man your first product! All the best.
I'm curious to know how you got connected with the people who offer help with career growth.
TheWorkSage
@nareshmeetei Thank you, Naresh! To answer your question - mainly through LinkedIn and different events, where I've been networking.
@veselin_kostov Great. This is the way!
Congratulations and all the best. ππππ
TheWorkSage
@krish_ubuntu Thank you! Much appreciated :)
Congratulations on your launch! Bubble is a great product to build your initial project. Good luck and all the best in scaling the company!
TheWorkSage
@vladimir_zivkovic Thanks! Agree for Bubble.
Congratulations! Great job! Can you share the whole process, like, How did you find the problem, how did you validate the problem, how did you built it, etc
TheWorkSage
@saurao_dalvi Thanks! Great questions :)
The problem is something I myself went through 5 years ago when I had to switch from Law to Business. Didn't know anyone who could help, and no experience really in applying to any jobs. So I wanted to make sure no else gets to feel this way.
Validating - I had landing page collecting sign-ups for 3 months.
Building - all through bubble.io
@veselin_kostov Thanks for sharing this! Had one more question, If I build a landing page and collect signups is there a particular figure which I need to think of like 1000 impressions nd 500 signups is a good number
Congrats on the launch Veselin!
Congratulations on the launch!!
I will take this opportunity to announce that I am starting a course on entreprise data management for entrepreneurs with non tech background to help them understand all the data operations.
Feel free to message me on LinkedIn if you or anyone you know is interested.
All the best!

I really like the idea as a person who changed career once, I understand how hard it is to do it on their own with no external help.
TheWorkSage
@anson_leung Thanks! Good luck with your launch soon :)
That's the spirit! So how did you manage to create the tool with no tech background?
Also - congrats on your launchπ
TheWorkSage
@kate_kovbii Well, I'm hoping we will reach the stage where we do need a tech team, as that would mean we are implementing a lot more complicated features π
TheWorkSage
@kate_kovbii Thanks Kate! :)
Fortunately I found out about all the no-code platforms out there. After some research, I chose Bubble.io, because at least at this stage, it enabled me to create all the necessary stuff for an MVP.
Been using it for 3 months and I'm very happy, but open to any other recommendations!
@veselin_kostov, that sounds awesome! So are you planning to get yourself some tech team in the future, or you're okay with keeping it no-code? π
@veselin_kostov well done for going out and doing it on your own though, goes to show we live in a time where everything has a solution!
@veselin_kostov, that is an awesome plan π€ Totally with you on this one!
Congratulations on the project, it looks very interesting, and then the idea of developing it no code is absolutely wonderful. I accidentally discovered bubble.io today and had no idea it had so much potential. You have my support for the challenge faced and the very interesting idea!
TheWorkSage
@neder_ghadhab Thanks Neder! I discovered it through a post on LinkedIn. It was marketed as a "must-know" tool for makers, so it got my curiosity :D

Congrats!
Congrats! What chnaged your mind to make you start building?
TheWorkSage
@nuno_ms_reis I was just trying to get some product management experience, but it turned out to be a lot bigger than this. I'm currently in the IT services industry (my full-time job), but I feel like building can impact people a lot more positively :)
Congratulations
Nice job u do thanks for sharing your experience with as ur app means a lot to people and we thanks you the maker
@veselin_kostov u mean a lot to us we are here to hips a good product testing engineering team. thanks for your wonderful time
TheWorkSage
@mahamadu_illiasu Thank you Mahamadu! :)
Congratulations! What influenced your decision to start building? https://icccworldcup.com/
TheWorkSage
@abdul_ella Thank you! At some point I just felt I had to start building, in order to impact more people out there. I've always had that great feeling, when I start growing something from it's beginning :)
Congrats on the launch! How did you tackle the development process? Btw, TheWorkSage seems similar to LinkedIn's mentorship feature. What sets it apart?
TheWorkSage
@monoshitsu1974 Thank you! Great questions.
Bubbe.io was what helped me with the development. It's a no-code platform, which enables people like me who don't know how to code, to build up sites with functionality behind them.
As a professional platform, LinkedIn, will always be somewhat of an indirect competitor. What sets us apart is that on TheWorkSage you can receive help for anything in your career, not just mentorship per say. By anything I mean CV reviews, interview preparation, networking strategies and more!
Hope that answers the questions, but I'm here if I can provide more details!
@veselin_kostov That's cool, no-code platforms are game changers for non-tech founders. Interesting approach with TheWorkSage, catering to broader career needs. Good luck with the project and keep us posted on updates!

Congratulations Veselin on your first launch.
What were your top 3 learnings as a first time maker?
TheWorkSage
@sudeshna_roy Thanks Sudeshna!
1. It's never as easy as it looks.
2. Usually when you estimate work, mind that it will take double that time.
3. Use a to-do list and plan your week.
Liffery
first of all love your idea and the kind of community you will hopefully be creating around this topic. Career topics can be scary to even explore and the best thing anyone can do is get honest advice from someone whoβs been there! secondly, do you ever feel imposter syndrom when speaking to tech people? I have often felt that way, so curios what your experience is :)
TheWorkSage
@janine_nitz Happy to hear you like it, Janine!
I work with tech people at my full-time job, so I've gotten used to it. My role consists of having a general tech understanding, so I try not to be that far away from technicalities.
Liffery
@veselin_kostov ah ok.. do you ever plan on learning how to code as well ?
TheWorkSage
@janine_nitz I will, but definitely not in-depth. Good enough to understand what technical people in my team are saying :)
