Hey guys, Hoping you can help me. I just built a new PC for gaming and a little bit for my AutoCAD Word. It has an i7-6700k and a GTX 1070 and so I know it's capable of playing games at higher resolutions. But I'm wondering if I should go 4K, or with a 1440p high refresh monitor. These guides rank the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27″ as highly rated:- https://thepcbuild.net/best-monitor-for-autocad/ But if I'm not playing competitive games, does the refresh rate really matter that much? Can I get away with a 4K monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate?

A 1070 won't power gaming at 4k at 120hz anyway, so either go 60hz or 1440p 120hz

Higher refresh rate does give smoother less choppy images, refresh rate is important for gamers, most monitors designed for gaming offer at least 120 Hz. If you're not gaming 60 Hz refresh rate if fine.

Yes sure you can enjoy smooth gameplay without streaming you can have different monitors to choose like one I found there https://trendingmafia.com/12-bes...
