Is it worth to give discount promo codes 💵 when launching on ProductHunt?

Have read many times that it makes Sense to give your ProductHunt users discounts with promo codes at your launch. Is it something that works efficiently or brings no difference in the end? Any experience?

Depends on your product and pricing but wont hurt including it :)

I have no experience with it and I guess it depends on your product and pricing. We are launching soon and are planning to give a discount in order to give something different to the community who'll be supporting our launch. But I guess it always depends, not sure if I have helped you but that's my opinion on this (which our team has already discussed it before our launch)
