Hey guys, I'm Yutish, I'm the founder of StarCy. Since I was kid, I always wanted to work on something that will change the world for better, so I dropped out of college at 16 (so young, but I think I got matured way to early, and glad my parent believed in me) to build something meaningful, something that WILL change the world for better.
After exploring and failing at things I wasn’t passionate about, I realized I wanted to work on something truly impactful. That’s when I became deeply aware of the effects AI could have on humanity’s future—both its potential and its risks. It was a wake-up call. I even emailed Sam Altman, sharing my concerns and asking how he planned to ensure AI remains aligned with human values. Although I never got a response, it pushed me to take matters into my own hands.
That’s why I founded StarCy: to steadfastly ensure that all forms of AI—current systems, Artificial General Intelligence, and even Superintelligence—remain fundamentally aligned with human values.
For our v1, we’ve outsourced every tool due to a lack of infrastructure, but we’re raising capital with the clear goal of building our own AI systems in-house. StarCy is built to be the best alternative to Siri, but it’s so much more than that.
StarCy is your first emotionally intelligent, human-like conversational AI. It doesn’t just answer your questions—it detects your emotions, adapts to your mood, and builds a genuinely human-like connection. With internet access, StarCy can scrape the world for real-time information, offering smarter and more dynamic interactions than any existing assistant.
I know this is a field dominated by big players, and it’s easy to feel like a small fish in a very big pond. But that’s what makes it exciting. I wake up every day motivated to work on StarCy, knowing it’s a long game worth playing.
After 4 months of building, we’re gearing up to launch StarCy v1 in Q1 of 2025. It’s just the beginning, but it’s a product I’m truly proud of—and one I’ve always wanted for myself. (more features to come)
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or connect with anyone!
