I had 100+ days going, and then I just stopped. Aside from the big hunters, how do you stay motivated to be apart of the Product Hunt community?

I like the gamification aspect but also meeting there new faces and discovering new products. At least, when you do not want to play that "streak game", you can be several steps ahead of the "regular population" because you will know the latest tech trends. :)

@busmark_w_nika That's so true! I often find new products or startups here, and then a few weeks later, they pop up on my LinkedIn feed.

why do you care about the strike so much? i still do not get it... i mean if you are writing helpful discussions /answers then it creates so much value to the product hunt and hence yourself. but the streak thing... maybe i did not explore product hunt as much as i should have been hah

I am sorry to hear that but just remember, reconnecting with the community and your initial passion can help reignite your motivation.
its tough when that happens, but dont bee too hard on yourself. i sty motivated by checking out new lunches that match my interest
Honestly, I take breaks when needed and come back when I feel like exploring new products. The cool thing about Product hunt is that there’s always something fresh too check out, so it’s easy to get back into it when you're ready!

Believe me, I've been there and it kind of hurts lol. But you should not feel discouraged and be proud you were able to make it this far!
There isn't really any value in a streak apart from PH having one more DAU. So focus on what value you get out of PH and if once a week is enough, then so be it.
happen to the best!I find that staying curious helps. Every time I see a unique product I get drawn back in. It’s more about enjoying the journey than keeping a streak.
No worriees, breaks are normal. I just follow makers whose projects I find inspiring. Whenever they launch something new, it pulls me back into the community without pressure
Don’t sweat it! I think the key is to interact when something genuinely catches your eye. no need to force it, the excitement comes naturally when a cool product pops up!
