Do you feel "AI" label is overused and many AI products actually don't have anything about AI?

I agree - many products claim to be AI but do not deliver them, they automate basic tasks. Although I have come across some really awesome AI products as well, that have genuinely surprised me.

Yes, I believe so; even tasks that don’t require AI are often labeled as AI-powered.

Yes! My app which is under development called Repostify can be slapped on with the AI label. You post your vid on tiktok, then (after connecting platforms) you can see your video automatically posted in other social media platforms. It uses API integrations for that video to pop up in different social media platforms but I could magically say AI did it! (when it has nothing to do with AI!)

Yes, the "AI" label is overused. Many products call themselves AI but are just basic automation. True AI involves advanced methods like machine learning, not simple rules. It’s overhyped and often misleading.

AI is just a new way of building solutions. What most people don't understand is that we still have "human" problems to solve. The same problems that existed before. Like for education, the goal should be to be build a product with primary focus being on learning experience - which is better understanding (and retention) of the subject matter and having fun in the learning process. And definitely AI can help us achieve that but we still need to work hard to get insights on user problems and then build AI-powered solutions.
