In addition to keeping up with current shows with the calendar feature, I appreciate the "Episodes" tab to check off episodes as I watch seasons of older shows. I keep a running list of tv shows and movies that I'm interested in watching when I have free time and check them off as I go. Not sure if you watched "Episode 3" already? Click the title in the "Episodes" tab to read a synopsis before checking it off the list.
Status updates are really awesome on the shows' pages, too. An anticipated show will state "In Development" and will change when the air date is announced, so no scouring the internet for an obscure show.
If you watch a less-popular show, you may need to request it to be added or updated. The developers/monitors have a timely response.
I've been using Next Episode for quite some time now, and it has made my life much simpler in keeping track of the (admittedly) way too many shows I'm watching at any given time. It's one of the sites I visit daily to see what shows I need to catch up on and I honestly don't think I can go back to life without it. Love the pro features also. Highly recommend to any lover of TV!
I have been using for years as a member, love this app (desktop), it takes care of everything for me on TV and Movies. All I have to do it save to my favorites and it will track for me; past, present and future needs. The best part for me is the Calendar - you can export to import (only TV Shows) to Google (Outlook, too) calendar - this gives me the ability to get email reminders of everything new coming up. You do get app/desktop reminders of all movies coming up too, which I just remember to add to Netflix and/or calendar. Never see a rerun again and can backtrack to watch those old shows I never got around to. So much flexibility, for both novice and the experience. Try it out for free, then think of all the things you could get with membership.
