What's the best or worst thing about AI?

I think that AI is used way to frequent, especially in businesses or products that have nothing to do with AI. I saw an ad for "AI Prescription Glasses" - they were just regular glasses, nothing special added to them. What do you think?

Can't agree more. AI is a marketing joke that went out of control. I'd say more: there are ZERO public products available that have AI in them.

@yurii_holovanov That's an interesting point of view. I wouldn't say that there are NO products that use AI, but certantly there are a lot more that just use AI as a marketing keyword.

@davidpopescu66 What do you think AI is? Just give the answer from the top of your head. And if you have any examples of products that incorporate real AI, I would be delighted to check them out.

The best thing is the speed of getting answer. The downside is that you have to think through your queries very carefully, otherwise, the answer will be poor.

I don't blame people for wanting to incorporate AI into their marketing. It's been a popular trend because AI companies are getting funded. Have you seen the latest Y-Combinator batch? The true players leveraging AI with a strong value proposition for their underserved users will be left standing

@my_phung That's a really interesting way of thinking. I've also read a quote from somebody that said, 'If you remove the AI branding from your product and you have nothing left, you didn't have anything from the beginning.

Personally I think AI's use case is removing tedious tasks that take low brain power, which allows us to focus on higher level tasks. That's what we're hoping to do for YouTubers with Smartrazor which launched today. Feedback on our product would be largely appreciated! (https://www.producthunt.com/post...)

The best thing about AI is its incredible ability to process vast amounts of data quickly, making tasks more efficient and enabling breakthroughs in various fields like healthcare and technology. On the flip side, the worst aspect is the ethical concerns it raises, particularly around privacy, job displacement, and the potential for misuse in areas like surveillance or deepfakes. Balancing AI's benefits with responsible usage is crucial to harnessing its full potential without unintended consequences. https://originality.ai/blog/effe...
