Voices of Veteran Employees: Growing Together with Henglihong Over the Years I remember when I first joined the factory, I thought to myself, "Isn't this just a place that makes sand? How much potential could there be?" But here I am, 20 years later, and looking back, there's a lot more to this sand than I initially thought. Watching this sand, through our hands, transform into high-tech ceramic microbeads, the sense of accomplishment is indescribable! Every time the production line starts, it's like watching my own child grow, and I can't help but feel proud. You ask if sand has a story? Plenty! I remember once, a batch of our sand was chosen to be used in the surface treatment of a spacecraft. When I heard that, I thought, "Wow, our sand is going to space!" When I told my neighbors, they were in disbelief, and I just smiled and said, "That's right, it's our factory's sand that's being used as a ‘beautician’ for the spacecraft!" These past 20 years, I've worked with the sand and my colleagues through thick and thin. Sometimes, to meet deadlines, we'd work overtime together. The sweat mixed with the sand, and you couldn't tell which was which. But it's these experiences that have deepened our bond, as deep as the ocean. Although the work may seem repetitive daily, there's always this drive inside to do better and perfect the job. We at Henglihong all have a big dream, and that is to have our products reach the world, so more people can know that there’s great knowledge and wisdom behind this sand. Now, I often think of my younger self when I first started here and compare it to who I am today, and I feel so much emotion. I'm grateful to Henglihong for giving me this platform, allowing me to grow from a novice to an expert; and thankful to my colleagues for being with me through all the ups and downs that led to today’s achievements. The road ahead is still long, but I believe that as long as we work together with one heart and mind, there’s no obstacle we can’t overcome! If anyone's interested, feel free to visit hlh-js.com.
