Hunting Yourself or Getting someone to hunt for you?

I am planning a launch later this month and exploring the idea of having someone else hunt the product. On our first launch, I was the one who hunted the product and it went well, but I want to know if getting help from someone else is worth it. What is everyone's experience?

Having a hunter is a nice plus, but it isn't a must. You usually need 1 to 2 weeks to find a hunter, so I would advice you to look for hunters this week, if you do not find any go for hunting on your own.

a lot of the product of the day launches i've seen are by makers rather than hunters. but using a hunter gets you access to all their followers as it sends a notification to them all
