I think posting on your company profile and sharing on your personal is the best strategy for authority / initial visibility. Once your page starts to generate more traction you can do the reverse - post insights about industry stuff - maybe more personal or anecdotal and repost from the company page like "our lead dev's insights on the market"

I definitely think starting with your company page and sharing on your personal page is the best way initially. If you do the other way around, I'm not sure what effect it would have on the company page in terms of increasing brand awareness and engagement if you're just getting started and have a very small following on the company page. If personal posts are about the company it would of course increase awareness, but if no original content is shared on the company page, there would be no incitaments to follow the page. So if you are planning on having a company page at some point it's best to start posting on the company page, because the sooner the better. Side note: In terms of content I recommend content featuring people, and photos and videos featuring employees and founders talking, doing things, speaking about topics. Faces and humans always in my experience performs better than a link to a blog post. Sharing a video where e.g.a founder speaks about the topic often leads to more engagement and impressions than a blog post link.

As a startup focusing on customer market, I’ve run out of patience with LinkedIn. What do you think?
