How I select a tech stack for my app

Hi everyone, I wanted to share how I ended up selecting my tech stack for Maruti.io. I was stuck mostly figuring out whether to use Django and htmx, Sveltekit or NextJS. The way I ended up selecting Sveltekit was building an application with a landing page and auth. I found Sveltekit to be the best experience and realized I was really productive out the gate. I also realized that if I can be this productive right out the gate with little experience in front end, someone else can too! So it would be easy for new hires to pick it up and be productive. Besides the front end, I use PostgreSQL for database and Python for AI. Similar selecting process for both of them! I wanted to share this in case anyone else might be stuck on a similar problem! I would also like to hear from others on how they selected their tech stack!
