I use socialmention.com to read reviews of my competitors, especially the negative ones, so that we can improve in those areas.

Facebook ad library to look at their best performing ads, Anstrex is a tool that can help too.

Finally google alerts and ahrefs to see their seo game by looking at their backlinks.

Yup, you probably don't want me as a competitor ;)
