Clarification on How Products Get Featured on Product Hunt

Hi everyone, I wanted to open a discussion about the process of getting featured on Product Hunt. Despite meeting all the requirements and being an active member for 3 years, my product wasn’t featured, even though it gained over 240 votes. Is the feature listing paid, based on personal connections, or something else? I’ve reached out to the chat service but haven't received a response. Would love to hear your experiences and insights on this matter.
